Taxi
Bangkok has thousands of metered, air-con equipped taxis available 24 hours. Flag fall is Baht 35 (for the first 2 kms) and the fare climbs in Baht 2 increments. Be sure the driver switches the meter on. No tipping is required, but rounding the fare up to the nearest Baht 5 or Baht 10 is common. Expressway toll fees are not included.
