Attractions in Bangkok

Located just outside of Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, the Erawan Shrine was originally built to ward off evil. Famous for bringing good fortune, the Shrine currently attracts millions of visitors each year.

Siam
Ocean World
Recognized as South East Asia’s largest aquarium, the Siam Ocean World occupies 10,000 sq m over two levels inside Siam Paragon.

Lumpini
Park
Bangkok’s Central Park, Lumpini is located right in the middle of Bangkok’s buzzing business district. The park also has a lake where boats can be rented.

Jim Thompson’s House
This remarkable Thai-style house is the world of American Jim Thompson, credited with the revival of Thai silk industry after World War II.  It has been preserved as a museum to showcase a priceless collection of Asian arts.

The Grand Palace
No trip to Bangkok is complete without a visit to the Grand Palace. Once the official royal residences, its big compound houses a number of historical landmarks, especially the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.  As well as being a truly rich architectural gem, the temple is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand.

The National Museum
An 18th-century palace housing a largest collection of Thai artifacts.  A good start to learn about Thai history.  This museum is dedicated to preserving the national cultural heritage through collections of art, archaeological and cultural objects near the Grand Palace.

Bangkok’s China Town is one of the liveliest and most happening China Towns in the world.  There are many small streets and alleys full of shops selling all types of goods.  It’s an experience not to be missed!
